Overview
The Sodick AL600G i Groove+ Edition is a mid-large format linear motor wire EDM with 600 x 400 x 350 mm (23.6 x 15.75 x 13.78 in) X/Y/Z travel and a 1,000 kg (2,205 lb) workpiece capacity. Uses Digital HF control generator rather than Smart Pulse, providing linear motor accuracy at lower cost than the AL600P.
Four-axis linear motor drive powers X, Y, U, V axes with in-house motors. At 600 mm X-travel, linear motor advantages over ball screws are more pronounced. Backed by 10-year positioning accuracy guarantee.
i Groove+ provides real-time wire deflection compensation. +/-25 degree taper at 130 mm plate thickness. 1,050 x 710 mm work tank accommodates up to 800 x 570 x 340 mm workpieces.
