Overview
The Citizen Miyano BNE-42SY6 is a dual-spindle, twin-turret fixed-headstock CNC turning center with Y-axis capability for complex parts up to 42mm bar diameter. The SY6 designation combines sub-spindle, Y-axis, and sixth-generation improvements.
The main spindle reaches 6,000 RPM with 15/11 kW. The sub-spindle operates at 5,000 RPM with 5.5/3.7 kW, accepting 42mm bar. Y-axis travel of +/-40mm provides off-center milling capability.
Twin 12-station turrets deliver 24 tool positions with live tooling at 6,000 RPM. Upper turret works with Y-axis for off-center main spindle operations, while the lower turret simultaneously machines on the sub-spindle.
Same compact 2,690 x 2,160mm floor space and 7,600 kg as the BNE-42S6. 90mm turning length targets short, feature-dense parts.
For parts with cross-drilled holes, milled flats, keyways, and hex features, the BNE-42SY6 eliminates secondary milling and delivers done-in-one manufacturing for demanding 42mm-class parts.
