Citizen Cincom B12E-II

The Citizen Cincom B12E-II is a compact, entry-level sliding headstock CNC automatic lathe built for high-speed production of small precision turned parts up to 12mm in diameter. The II designation indicates a streamlined configuration with 12 tool positions, making this the most basic and affordable machine in the B12E family. Without a back spindle and with a focused tooling layout, the B12E-II prioritizes speed, reliability, minimal footprint, and the lowest possible entry cost into Citizen Swiss-type production.

The main spindle reaches 12,000 RPM (8,000 RPM in R.G.B. guide-bushless mode) with 2.2/3.7 kW of power. Maximum machining length is 135mm per chucking with the guide bushing, or 60mm in guide-bushless R.G.B. configuration. The R.G.B. (Removable Guide Bushing) option allows the B12E-II to run with or without a guide bushing, reducing bar remnant waste on shorter parts while maintaining guide bushing support for longer, slender workpieces.

With 12 tool positions and rapid feed rates of 21 m/min on X/Y axes and 15 m/min on Z, the B12E-II handles straightforward turned parts efficiently. This single-spindle machine has no back spindle, so parts requiring secondary operations must be handled separately. The machine weighs just 1,100 kg with 3.3 kVA rated power consumption (2.5 kVA average).
